For years, I numbed my grief, chased after things that could never truly fill me, and idolized everything except the One True God. I had a relationship with Him, but as life unraveled, I strayed. And yet, in the past few months, my eyes have been opened.
We always say something feels like it’s missing—thinking it’s something tangible. But the truth? The voids we seek to fill can only be filled by Jesus Christ. Nothing in this world will ever satisfy. Not success. Not people. Not distractions. Only Him.
The first half of this year has been about refocusing and rededicating my life to Christ. I don’t care what it looks like externally—this is serious. When all else fails, what name do we cry out to? God. But we must ask ourselves—which god are we serving now? Because the idols we choose will be the ones He delivers us to.
I’ve lost a lot in my life, but with each loss, my spiritual eyes have been opened. The spiritual world is real. And there is only one way to true and eternal healing—through Jesus Christ. All else is darkness, no matter how it’s disguised.
If this resonates with you, join me on 3/20 for my workshop—where I’ll share more about what it means to walk in truth and let go of deception. My soul continues to tell on me. Will you listen to yours?
