Dear Black Women,
it’s the middle of the month already in 2024… and I have a serious question for you…
how have you looked out for yourself?
I started my business Chántelle Adanna Publishing and She Carries for black women to feel their embedded emotions because they are too busy carrying everyone else’s.
that said, all my content will be creating and supporting the emotional wealth and health of US.
What I do mean:
How have you taken care of, brought joy, or paid attention to yourself and your needs this week?
What I do not mean?
how are your kids, the business, family, and all other factors that we’re quick to deflect to when asked how we are.
i’m not speaking to the multi-hyphenate, the superhuman, or the strong black woman…
we’re leaving those overwhelming and oftentimes damaging labels to the waste side.
i want to know,
how you’re feeling?
what you’re feeling?
and why you're having the emotions you have.
because they matter. because YOU matter.
you are not a machine.
you are not defined or measured by what you can accomplish, your potential, your skin color, your speech, the conviction in your voice, or any other factors outside of who you are to the bone, without forced external identifiers.
you are worthy.
P.S. I’m sharing a spoken word piece later this week for my paid subscribers :)
