The past isn’t all bad.
meaning that looking at your past can also bring calming sentiments as opposed to chaotic ones.
Reminiscing has a sweeter tone than, looking back into the past but the reality is that the past exists for a reason. One obvious one is that it’s a part of the human life experience as we’re growing and moving forward daily.
It represents what’s made us who we are today and explains why our foundations are so strong or shallow...
It explains why the insidious plots and schemes of today miss me everytime.
The consistency of prayer, God’s grace, and his loving compassion are why I can stand here today and say: “I’m so grateful for where I’ve been, where I am, and where I’m going.”
Today, I encourage you to look within.
Name everything you admire about yourself and would replicate it if you could.
Notice how that ties into how you’ll continuously create a life worth living; then live it.
Harp on those pieces of light, resilience, and strength inside of you to keep you grounded as you reach higher heights.
You can do it, you’ve done it before.
Sometimes you have to remind yourself who you are.
remind yourself who you were.
remind yourself who you’re becoming.
